Dr. Hannah Rodriguez is the owner of Great Basin Veterinary Services. Dr. Rodriguez grew up in Carson City, Nevada. Her diverse animal husbandry background stems from many years in 4-H and FFA as well as from following her veterinarian father around. Dr. Rodriguez began her education at Great Basin College where she gained strong ties to the Elko area before transferring to the University of Nevada, Reno where she received her Bachelors of Animal Science. Following graduation, Dr. Rodriguez attended San Diego State University where she received her master’s degree in public health and later attended veterinary school at Washington State University.
Dr. Rodriguez worked at Sierra Veterinary Hospital for a year to gain practical small animal experience that she is excited to apply to her mobile practice. Her goal is to serve the variety of needs in the community and grow her practice to meet the demand for local mixed animal veterinary services.
Dr. Rodriguez is excited to integrate herself into the community and is ready to provide quality veterinary care for rural Nevada.
When not working, Dr. Rodriguez enjoys spending time with her husband, John and daughter Mackenzie. She also enjoys a wide variety of hobbies including reading, horseback riding, running/biking, sewing, dirtbike riding and snowmobiling.
